Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a background in fleet operations or dispatching?
We are currently seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for our client in South Kitchener, to join a dynamic team on a full-time, Monday–Friday afternoon work schedule . In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for driving associates and fleet activities, ensuring seamless operations, driver support, and top-tier service for customers.
This will be a night shift: 11pm-6am shift, Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities
As a Dispatch Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Assign carriers, drivers, and equipment to ensure timely, complete, and accurate execution of customer requirements.
- Administer emergency "on-the-road" maintenance support to maximize equipment availability and uptime.
- Act as the central point of contact for fleet status, collecting and documenting operational data for KPI reports.
- Identify, document, and escalate process exceptions needed to meet customer expectations.
- Assist leadership with additional operational projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years proven experience in a Fleet, Dispatch, or Logistics Coordinator role from a transportation and/or logistics company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must have your own transportation, as this is not on a bus route.
