The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the establishment of this new function, with a focus on strategic function build-out, risk infrastructure design, and analytical leadership. This role requires a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of market risk across both banking and trading books, and the ability to provide a comprehensive, top-of-house view of market risk. Key responsibilities include designing core processes, implementing analytical frameworks, and ensuring the production of timely, accurate, and insightful risk analysis and commentary. The role also involves leading the stress testing function, coordinating with various FRM oversight teams, and driving strategic initiatives, including regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should possess a strong technical background in advanced analytical tools and data infrastructure, including SQL, Python, Tableau, and Murex.
