This isn’t just a driving gig—it is a critical role where your coordination directly impacts our daily production success.

Your Impact (Responsibilities)
Command the shunt truck to safely, efficiently, and accurately maneuver trailers, products, and materials across the yard and facility.
Enforce and maintain strict safety standards to ensure an incident-free, organized yard environment.
Pivot seamlessly to assist with hands-on general labor and plant support duties whenever required to keep operations running smoothly.
Adapt to a dynamic, rotating shift schedule that keeps our production flow synchronized across all hours (one week mornings, one week afternoons, one week nights).
Who You Are (Requirements)
Experienced: You bring a proven track record working in a plant, production, or warehouse environment.
Safety-First Mindset: You possess strong spatial awareness and a dedicated commitment to workplace safety protocols.
Versatile: You enjoy a mix of operating machinery and jumping into hands-on physical labor as needed.
Flexible: You are fully able to commit to a consistent, weekly rotating shift schedule (Mornings / Afternoons / Nights).

Advantages
Stable, Permanent Employment: Secure a full-time role with long-term career stability.
Health & Dental Coverage: Access a comprehensive Desjardins benefits package after 6 months.
Dynamic Work Environment: Gain valuable experience hands-on in a fast-paced production plant.
Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a supportive, team-oriented crew.
Career Advancement: Clear pathways for internal promotion and long-term professional growth.
Flexible Scheduling: Rotating shifts with regular opportunities for lucrative overtime.

Responsibilities
Yard Logistics: Safely and efficiently operate a shunt truck to manage trailer movements within the facility and yard.
Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to all workplace safety protocols and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
Material Handling: Assist with the efficient loading, unloading, and staging of pallets and products.
Packaging & Inventory: Accurately palletize, bag, count, pack, and label products according to specifications.
Facility Maintenance: Keep production and warehouse zones clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Sanitation Support: Promptly clear grain spills (including shoveling) and assist with routine plant sanitation duties.
Team Collaboration: Follow direction from supervisors and plant operators, while proactively supporting warehouse and production teams.
General Labour: Perform versatile indoor and outdoor tasks to support daily plant operations.

Qualifications
Shunt truck driving experience (highly preferred).
Experience in industrial labour, production, or warehouse environments.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Proven ability to work safely and follow directions under fast-paced conditions.
Full flexibility to work a rotating schedule (days, afternoons, and night shifts).
Valid driver’s license and reliable means of commuting to the facility.
Strong dedication to workplace safety, teamwork, and punctual attendance.

Summary
