What's the opportunity?

RBC AI Group is building its Workplace Experience function to support the organization's growth and foster our culture. As a Workplace Experience Lead for our Vancouver office, you will play a key role in creating thoughtful and impactful in-office experiences that showcase the AI Group's culture and drive engagement.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day workplace operations and experiences that foster a welcoming, well-maintained, and efficiently run workspace where team members can thrive. As member of the team, you will be joining a group that believes in being bold & curious, so we are looking for someone who is driven, eager to make an impact, and thinks outside the box!

Your responsibilities include:

  • Foster the in-office employee experience by maintaining a welcoming environment and providing exceptional employee support;
  • Coordinate and execute local team building events and activations, managing vendor relationships and event budgets;
  • Order and manage office supplies and groceries to proactively anticipate office requirements;
  • Maintain office facilities, including coordinating repairs and maintenance in a timely manner by submitting tickets or liaising with building management when issues arise;
  • Support local execution of AI Group-wide initiatives, such as local employee onboarding, recruitment events, and hosted in-office ecosystem initiatives, partnering with AI Group Events & cross-functional teams, as needed.
  • Draft and manage effective internal communications to drive effective flow of information across the team;
  • Manage office tidiness and organization systems, ensuring a professional work environment;
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to streamline office processes.

You're our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Recent graduate in business administration, business management or relevant experience;
  • 2-3 years relevant employee/customer support, office management, or event coordination experience;
  • Keen interest in logistics, event coordination, office management, and administration;
  • Comfortable managing vendor relationships and budgets;
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

What's in it for you?

  • Be part of a dynamic & flexible working environment;
  • Become part of a team that thinks progressively and works collaboratively. We care about seeing each other reach full potential;
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities;
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact from a local-to-global scale.
