Position Summary

• Fujitsu is looking for a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to join an Application Maintenance Services team and perform project management duties for application development and modernization projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with significant client-facing experience, strong estimation skills, and proven project management leadership across a portfolio of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects, ensuring delivery within budget and scheduled timelines.
• Manage communications and stakeholder expectations, including project change requests based on risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
• Coordinate team members to gather requirements and develop effort estimates for proposals.
• Provide project oversight and coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
• Interact directly with clients and manage relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage weekly and monthly project status reports.
• Ensure adherence to client and internal technical standards and guidelines.
• Develop and execute project plans for multiple small- to medium-sized initiatives.
• Create and maintain process and procedure documentation.
• Govern quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions and complete formal project closure activities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with external clients, internal stakeholders, senior management, and staff (8+ years).
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences (8+ years).

• Experience managing application development and IT infrastructure projects using industry best practices (8+ years).

• Project management, oversight, and coordination experience (8+ years).
• Project-level reporting and status reporting experience (6+ years).
• Experience leading estimation exercises and reviewing team estimates (4+ years).
• Experience leading meetings and facilitating consensus (6+ years).
• Hands-on experience in a structured application maintenance environment (8+ years).
• Experience working within formal processes and methodologies in maintenance environments (5+ years).
• Experience using AI tools and leading teams that use AI tools.

Desirable Skills

• PMP certification.
• Experience and knowledge of web-based applications (3+ years).
• Experience with public-facing applications and application support (3+ years).
• Experience working in the public sector (3+ years).
