What will your typical day look like?

As a Property Tax Analyst, you will work as part of a dynamic team delivering property tax advisory, assessment, and compliance services to clients across a broad range of industries, including commercial, industrial, retail, and real estate sectors. You will collaborate with experienced professionals locally and across Canada to analyze property assessments, identify tax-saving opportunities, and support clients in managing their property tax obligations.
In this role, you will:

  • Conduct research and analysis of property assessments, tax legislation, and municipal assessment practices.
  • Assist in preparing assessment reviews, appeals, and other property tax engagements.
  • Analyze data, financial information, and property records to identify potential assessment and tax savings opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to delivering practical, value-driven solutions to complex property tax issues.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and internal teams while gaining exposure to a variety of industries and real estate asset classes.
  • Support the growth of the practice through innovative thinking, collaboration, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

About the team

Currently we are seeking an Analyst or a Senior Analyst for our Property Tax team. The position is open to candidates in Vancouver, BC.

You are someone with:

  • College or University degree or 3+ years of property tax consulting experience
  • Preference given to Accredited or Candidate member of Appraisal Institute of Canada, Roval Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Institute of Municipal Assessors
  • Proven ability to deliver all services related to the lifecycle of property assessment consulting and appeal services
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven

The salary range for Analyst position is $51,000 - $77,000 and for Senior Analyst position is $68,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
