The CFO will be a key member of the organization, providing broad financial leadership and playing a pivotal role in attracting private sector investment. This includes structuring and negotiating complex deals that align with the company's mission of supporting economic growth and job creation. The successful candidate will work closely with C-suite leaders to develop and implement investment strategies, evaluate proposals, and ensure the financial interests of the province are protected. The role demands a seasoned finance executive with a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience, a strong background in commercial lending, and the ability to navigate the financial landscape with a high level of integrity, ethics, and transparency. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be seasoned business and finance executives with a proven track record in deal-making and a deep understanding of financial management. The role requires a leader with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, who can effectively communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.
