Stage Windows & Doors is looking for a hands-on
Talent Manager to lead our Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, and Health & Safety programs.
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to attract the right people, build effective training programs, develop our workforce, and strengthen our safety culture.
What You'll Do:Talent Acquisition:- Lead full-cycle recruitment for Production, Office, Technical, and Management roles.
- Partner with hiring managers on workforce needs, sourcing strategies, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Build strong talent pipelines and continuously improve recruitment processes.
- Track recruitment metrics and support workforce planning.
Training & Development:- Lead the Company's training and employee development programs.
- Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and training needs across departments.
- Develop and coordinate departmental and individual training plans based on business and employee development needs.
- Manage new hire orientation, onboarding training, cross-training, and mandatory training programs.
- Maintain the Company's training matrix, certifications, training records, and completion requirements.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, guides, and learning resources.
- Monitor training progress and effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support skills development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
Health & Safety:- Lead and continuously improve the Company's Health & Safety program and safety culture.
- Serve as Co-Chair of the JHSC, coordinating meetings, inspections, corrective actions, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate safety training, certifications, fire drills, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Support incident investigations, WSIB, return-to-work activities, and Ministry of Labour requirements.
- Partner with managers and supervisors to identify hazards and promote safe work practices.
Engagement & People Programs:- Lead employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
- Track Talent, Training, and Health & Safety metrics through HUMI HRIS.
- Partner with HR and leadership on people initiatives and continuous improvement.
Work Environment:- Location: Vaughan, Ontario
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Full-time, onsite
Qualifications:- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- CHRP designation required; CHRL is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, training, and Health & Safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA), Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), AODA, WSIB, and applicable Ontario employment legislation.
- Experience leading recruitment, employee training, Health & Safety programs, and Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) initiatives.
- Proficiency with HUMI or a comparable HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
