Apply now to work on one of the next major hospital projects in Western Canada and make a meaningful impact.As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead some of the most meaningful and needed multi-year Hospital projects in British Columbia. These projects range from $30 - $400 million with a typical duration of 3 to 7 years.This role is best suited for those with strong project management and leadership skills who want to make an impact. You'll be part of a progressive and supportive environment that fosters high performance and continuous development, enabling individuals and teams to grow meaningfully while meeting or exceeding project deliverables.If you thrive on working in high performing teams with design professionals and field personnel, we'd love to hear from you!LocationThis is a site-based role on project sites across the Lower Mainland, BC, and Western Canada. Compensation will reflect factors such as work location and any applicable shift schedules.Your responsibilitiesAs a member of the Project Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the project team has the direction, culture and resources to successfully achieve project deliverables within the schedule and budgetLead project management of Electrical and Technology scope for large design build projects, including the planning and coordination of the design & construction processesControl the schedule, budget and quality of design build projectsManage project performance tracking and financial reportingManage relationships with Clients, Engineers, Vendors and other stakeholdersWork with the Superintendent to manage labour requirements and staffingProvide mentorship to your teamLead the procurement processAssist/Lead the pursuit of design build projectsYour experience and skillsRed Seal Electrician or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or P.Eng. designationPMP Certification, Gold Seal in Project Management, Project Management Certificate, or equivalent education is requiredMinimum 10 years of previous project management experience in a related industry on similar complex, multi-year projects. Preference is for candidates with design build healthcare experienceExcellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated experience as the lead project manager leading a minimum of two projects with contract values of over $7 million from start-up to close outFinancial acumen and understanding of contract lawProficient in MS Office.
