Job description
Contribute to financial fairness with OBSI as a Bilingual Case Assessment Officer specializing in intake and assessment. Use your financial services expertise to help consumers while working either remotely or locally in the Greater Toronto Area. The Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI) is seeking a bilingual officer to be the first point of consumer contact. With over two years in financial services, you will assess complaints about banking and investment products. Your ability to empathize and communicate effectively in both English and French will be paramount in this role, ensuring consumers receive professional service throughout their complaint process. Key Responsibilities: • Answer consumer inquiries in English and French • Intake and assess complaints per OBSI’s mandate • Determine the investigation eligibility of complaints • Communicate findings clearly in both official languages • Provide excellent customer service via phone and email Requirements: • Bilingual fluency in English and French • 2+ years in financial services experience • Strong customer service and communication skills • Excellent letter-writing abilities • Candidates preferred from Greater Toronto Area Become an integral part of OBSI’s mission to ensure a trusted financial system for all Canadians. #J-18808-Ljbffr
