Senior Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis

As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Reporting with BioScript Solutions, your skills and contributions will advance specialty health care by using data to support the decision‑making process. This role will require the successful candidate to perform a variety of financial activities including preparing management reporting and supporting the planning and budgeting process. The successful candidate will function independently, have ownership over their work and take initiative with respect to the evolution of the role over time.

Your Mission:

What You Bring to the Table:

• Assist the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis with monthly financial reporting and the annual budget
• Prepare management reporting and analysis for review, including metrics, KPI’s and dashboards
• Introduce new analysis, reporting formats, etc. which provide insights into different areas of the business
• Participate in the development of and report on key metrics and benchmarks
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and provide financial analysis / direction for operational decisions
• Assists with other finance responsibilities that may arise relating to month‑end closing activities, the accounting function and / or accounting policies
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests and participate in projects as required
• Leverage analytics and technology to interpret results and articulate recommendations.

Education:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required
• Professional accounting designation is an asset

Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of financial planning, business processes, budgeting and forecasting;
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of dashboards, metrics, financial analysis, and trending;
• Superior analytical and problem‑solving capabilities;
• Resourceful and proactive;
• Works effectively in teams;
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Prior experience with ERP’s, Power BI, financial analytics or similar would be an asset.
• English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bilingualism (French and English) may be required depending on the specific role, location, and the needs of the organization

Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
