MFC Training is currently seeking a full-time permanent Program Coordinator in Moncton, NB or Fredericton, NB .
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both the Indigenous Pilot Pathway (IPP) and Life in Flight (LIF ) programs within Exchange Income Corporation’s aviation training network. This position ensures seamless coordination across multiple northern training bases, overseeing student travel, accommodations, logistics, and communication, while maintaining the high operational and cultural standards that define both programs.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Program Coordination
- Oversee student travel, accommodations, and vehicle logistics across northern basesManage application and intake logistics, including interviews, testing, and medical schedulingTrack and verify all student documentation for compliance with Transport Canada and funding partnersMaintain up-to-date databases for student hours, total time, and training progressCoordinate communication between bases, instructors, and program management
- Operational Support
- Administer student uniforms, stationery, and training materialsCollect and organize information for tax season and official reportingManage Transport Canada exam scheduling and documentationSupport students with special travel or accommodation needsEnsure consistent standards and procedures are maintained across all bases
- Event & Logistics Management
- Plan and support major program events including graduations, BBQs, and base visitsCoordinate attendance, hospitality, transportation, and allergy information for event participantsSupport cultural and community engagement events with counsellors, elders, and partners
- Communication & Reporting
- Prepare biweekly student updates on training status, hours, and progressRespond to student and partner inquiries across IPP and LIF programsMaintain application spreadsheets, progress trackers, and intake databasesProvide ongoing administrative and logistical support to program leadership
Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience in administration, logistics, or operationsStrong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and database toolsExperience in aviation, post-secondary training, or Indigenous program coordination considered an assetMust be comfortable traveling to northern communities if requiresWhat we offer :
