Job Summary: To ship, receive and record the movement of parts, materials, and products.

Required Education and Experience:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of Shipping / Receiving experience
• Experienced staging 4 legged metal bins
• Possess valid Counterbalance Forklift license
• Good English communication skills (oral and written)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in CMS system
• Experience in FORD, Stellantis, GM and other customer portals
• Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
• Previous shipping experience in an automotive industry is an asset
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to work highly efficiently with minimal to no supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
• Ability to maintain work area in an organized and tidy manner
• Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and at no time is the employee or their co-workers being placed in an unsafe condition
• Perform pre-shift forklift truck inspection daily, report any defective items to your supervisor immediately.

Essential Functions:

• Create Bill of Ladings (BOL) for shipment, enter/scan required data into ERP system
• Ensure BOL are accurate for shipment per required customer ship scheduled (EDI 862)
• Load finished products on to trucks based on internal system, procedure and work instructions
• Ensure staging of skids for various products is in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Prepare / stage products for outgoing shipments
• Load and ship product as per outgoing packing slips
• Performs inventory counts as required
• Ensure the warehouse is a clean, organized and safe place to work in at all times Occupational Health & Safety Acts

Working Environment:

• 100% plant floor (PPE required)

Physical Demands:

• Require communication with employees, peers and management
• Lifting and pushing as needed

Health, Safety and Environment:

• Must work in accordance with health and safety regulations, company rules, plant rules, policies and procedures
• Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company.
• All employees are prohibited from walking under a suspended hoist, cranes or forklifts.
• All employees must follow all LOTO procedures
• Comply with all environmental requirements including our recycling program.
