Job description
We are looking for a versatile Shipper/Receiver and Forklift Operator to support a manufacturing and assembly plant in the Durham Region. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who enjoys variety, combining forklift driving with clerical inventory tracking, receiving verification, and direct collaboration with the production floor.

Advantages
Excellent Pay: $22.50/hour to start.

Work-Life Balance: Straight Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Monday through Friday.

Local Commute: Avoid the 401 Toronto rush hour by working close to home in Durham.

Security: Permanent full-time placement from day one with medical/dental benefits.

Responsibilities
Operate Electric Counterbalance forklifts to feed raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods.

Verify incoming shipment invoices and packing slips against physical contents for accuracy.

Complete daily shipping logs on a computer terminal and schedule freight pick-ups.

Keep the shipping dock organized, clean, and free of physical hazards.

Qualifications
Valid Electric Counterbalance Forklift License.

1+ years of dual experience in both forklift operation and shipping/receiving paperwork.

Proficient computer literacy (MS Excel, shipping software, or ERP systems).

Steel-toed safety boots (CSA approved) are mandatory.
