We believe in empowering communities through local projects that positively impact people's lives. We're a passionate group of people who love collaborating on innovative and challenging projects.

About this role

We are recruiting for a Systems Administrator II (Endpoint Administrator) to join the IT team at our Burnaby head office.

In this role, you will be keeping endpoint systems secure, optimized, and running at their best. You'll play a key role in ensuring our endpoint ecosystem is seamlessly configured, continuously monitored, and securely deployed.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Administer endpoint operations, including device setup, user provisioning, and core system administration
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner
  • Provide Tier 2 support to end users, mentor Tier 1 support staff, and collaborate with Tier 3 on major projects
  • Support backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and system availability
  • Contribute to endpoint modernization, transition initiatives, and continuous process improvements
  • Build, maintain, and support tools and processes that enhance IT service delivery
  • Assist in evaluating business and technical requirements, including new software solutions
  • Document procedures, system changes, and best practices

Your experience and skills

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint administration, mobile device management, and security best practices or a related IT role
  • Strong understanding of Windows, iOS, and mobile device management (iOS and Android)
  • Experience supporting Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 endpoint administration
  • Experience with third-party patching and endpoint tooling such as Patch My PC, BeyondTrust, or similar products
  • Familiarity with certificate and token renewals, compliance baselines, and device configuration standards
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset
  • Professional IT designations or certifications are considered an asset
