Responsibilities
- Client Experience: Work directly with clients, taking ownership of their experience, focusing on building and strengthening client-firm relationships.
- Strategic Tax Planning: Develop strategic tax planning solutions tailored to clients’ unique business needs.
- Tax Advisory: Help clients navigate the complexities of Canadian Tax Matters, providing advice on reorganizations, rollovers, windups, amalgamations, succession, and estate planning, as well as reviewing T1, T2, and T3 returns.
- Mentorship: Coach and mentor a team of colleagues on tax compliance, helping them walk in clients’ shoes by discussing tax planning options.
- Business Development: Contribute to our growing tax practice by understanding the comprehensive needs of clients’ businesses, identifying and developing new opportunities, and introducing them to our firm’s diverse offerings.
Qualifications
- Completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or hold a Master’s degree in Taxation.
- Develop and present new ideas, strategies, and tax solutions for clients, showcasing dedication to client service.
- Interest in pursuing business development opportunities to grow the tax practice.
- Recognized as a technical expert in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance.
- Actively seek opportunities to support others in their ongoing professional growth.

We’re serious about compensation. We benchmark regularly and consider your unique strengths, experiences, and impact. The current salary range for this role is $104,700-$184,200 in Prince George, BC. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
