Location: Moncton, NB (On-site)

Wage: $20 - $21/Hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate
Vacancy: Existing VacancyThis Service Technician role is ideal for a professional who enjoys serving the community while building a long-term career in the fire safety industry. You must be comfortable traveling to customer sites throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, occasionally overnight.What You'll Do

• Service and inspect commercial kitchen fire suppression systems
• Service and inspect fire extinguishers
• Travel to customer sites throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island
• Travel to residential and commercial locations to service fire safety equipment
• Inspect and troubleshoot fire and life safety systems
• Inspect emergency lighting systems
• Complete work orders and reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer needs and service requirements
• Perform system verifications on units of all sizes
• Assist in the preparation and completion of system modifications
• Restock first aid kits
• Stay current with company training and all applicable legislated codes and standards
• Provide professional customer service while representing the company in the community
• Perform other duties as required

What You'll Bring

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
• Clean criminal record and must be bondable
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs on a continual basis
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Neat in appearance and results-oriented
• Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset
• Willing and able to travel throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, including occasional overnight travel
