Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Solution Architect for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Brampton. In this role, you will take on a premier solution architecture, technical design, and strategic consulting capacity, specializing in enterprise asset management (EAM) platforms, system integrations, and multi-tier technology frameworks.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will bridge the gap between business objectives, technical delivery teams, and enterprise application roadmaps. Operating within a flexible hybrid work model in Brampton, you will lead the end-to-end design of scalable IBM Maximo solutions, author technical plans, create network and workflow architecture diagrams, and build functional prototypes for stakeholder review. This position demands a technical architecture authority with deep IBM Maximo expertise who can navigate complex technical landscapes, ensure strict adherence to security and governance standards, and align short-term implementations with long-term digital strategies.

Assignment Type: Hybrid (Mandatory minimum 1 day per week onsite, remaining days remote, with additional onsite attendance for critical meetings as required)

Responsibilities
Provide expert strategic consulting and lead the development of solution architectures that directly support core business objectives.

Conduct in-depth technical analysis of enterprise environments to establish robust architecture frameworks and technical plans.

Design architectural drawings, solution workflows, and network architecture diagrams to define target platform states.

Develop working functional prototypes and visual presentations to demonstrate technical capabilities to stakeholder groups for review and approval.

Provide expert architectural governance regarding technical changes, specifications, and compliance with enterprise security and technical policies.

Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate solution objectives, constraints, and alignment with business architecture.

Facilitate technical architecture reviews, decision-making sessions, and technical problem-solving workshops across small and large stakeholder groups.

Serve as a key technical liaison and negotiator to advocate for optimal tools, technologies, and end-to-end solution improvements.

Provide specialized architectural guidance, technical oversight, and mentorship to internal application delivery teams.

Evaluate emerging technology trends, vendor roadmaps, and industry advancements to assess business impacts, risks, and deployment opportunities.

Qualifications
Core Technical & Architectural Requirements
Maximo Professional Certification: Mandatory IBM Certified Maximo Advanced Deployment Professional – Asset Management designation.

Solutions & Systems Architecture Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in solution design, technical architecture, software engineering, database design, and EAM platforms.

IBM Maximo Platform Tenure: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on architectural experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management, covering the complete asset lifecycle (inventory, contracts, purchasing, resources, work management, preventive maintenance, and security).

Integration & Systems Design: Proven ability to design secure, highly resilient integration models that achieve robust system interoperability.

Large-Scale Project Delivery: Demonstrated experience implementing solutions on large-scale enterprise projects with a deep understanding of data structures, application security, and software development lifecycles.

Education: Relevant post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Certifications & Assets
Advanced Certification: IBM Certified Maximo Solution Architect credential.

EAM Frameworks: Familiarity with public sector Enterprise Asset Management methodologies and governance frameworks.

Agile Management: Practical experience with Agile project and program management delivery methodologies.
