Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of the Mechanical Assembly Department supporting the assembly and commissioning of innovative high-speed automated manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, a proactive attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:00pm, Friday 6:30am-3:00pm OR Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:00am, Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm
What's the Job?
- Assemble precision machine components, including machining parts such as milling, turning, and surface grinding as needed.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, assembly diagrams, and pneumatic schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
- Handle and move heavy components using appropriate lifting and rigging techniques, along with material handling equipment.
- Participate in machine start-up, testing, debugging, and commissioning processes.
- Support on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery at various locations, including international sites.
What's Needed?
- College Degree or Certificate in Mechanical Technology, Toolmaking, Machining, Millwright, completed apprenticeship, or equivalent.
- At least 5+ years of proven experience in assembly of custom automated machinery or other precision mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic schematics.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other lifting equipment; familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (30-60%), with valid passport and covered travel expenses.
