We’re looking for a
Senior Pricing Analyst to play a key role in driving profitable growth across our transportation network. In this role, you’ll develop pricing strategies, analyze transportation costs, support customer negotiations, and influence decisions at the executive level.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Leadership to ensure our pricing reflects real-world market conditions, capacity, and long-term strategy — not just spreadsheets.
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Profitability- Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models for trucking, intermodal, and related transportation services
- Analyze lane profitability, customer contribution margins, and network utilization
- Support annual contract renewals, RFP responses, and new business proposals
- Recommend pricing actions based on market trends, cost drivers, capacity constraints, and competitive intelligence
- Evaluate fuel surcharge programs, accessorial charges, and cost-recovery mechanisms
Financial & Data Analysis- Monitor performance versus forecast and identify margin improvement opportunities
- Prepare pricing and profitability reporting for senior leadership
- Partner with Sales to structure competitive yet profitable commercial agreements
- Participate in customer negotiations and executive-level reviews, as required
- Translate analytical findings into clear, data-backed business recommendations
Strategic Support & Continuous Improvement- Support long-range planning and strategic pricing initiatives
- Mentor and support junior pricing analysts
- Improve pricing tools, systems, and workflows
- Support automation and data-driven decision-making initiatives
Qualifications & Experience- Strong understanding of transportation cost structures and network economics
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience supporting RFP pricing and large-scale contract negotiations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred Experience- Truckload, LTL, intermodal, rail, marine, or port operations experience
