Job DescriptionAs our business continues to grow and diversify, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills to play an important role on our geotechnical team.

Key Responsibilities Specifically, you will :

• Participate in all facets of geotechnical projects, including project coordination, construction monitoring support, and reporting assistance.
• Conduct field programs while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation of a variety of technical summary reports, and work with other disciplines ( hydrogeology, air quality, permitting and ecology) as needed.
• May assist with geotechnical site inspections and associated technical summary reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting, with understanding of soil mechanics - co-op and internship experience will also be considered
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, with a Master’s degree preferred
• Experience with drill rigs and performing geotechnical investigations preferred
• Willingness to work on a wide variety of geotechnical and mining projects, including field investigation, laboratory testing and interpretation;

geotechnical analysis; design and construction

• Able to work independently, including ability to work alone in remote locations and adapt to conditions / resources
• Professional status or eligibility for professional status with a professional organization (, ,)
• Valid driver’s license
