Our Calgary client is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst with OT experience. NOTE : this is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days a week in-office.
The Information Services Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive information security program for the enterprise.
This includes identifying and assessing security risks, developing, and implementing security policies and procedures, and selecting, implementing, and managing appropriate security solutions.
The Cybersecurity Analyst will also be responsible for managing security projects, conducting security assessments and penetration testing, and providing guidance and training to employees on information security best practices.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the enterprise's security framework and roadmaps.
Create and maintain the enterprise's security architecture design.
Develop and maintain the enterprise's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans in collaboration with IT operations and managed service providers.
Stay current with industry trends and developments in information security, particularly those related to Identity Access Management, cloud architectures, and advanced threat detection.
Manage and supervise the deployment, integration, and configuration of security solutions, including hands-on experience with security tools and platforms.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
Own, evaluate, and action all escalated Cybersecurity related issues as appropriate.
Report and track detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard, ensuring detailed documentation and timely resolution.
May perform other duties as assigned, adaptable to the evolving needs of the cybersecurity landscape.
Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years of IT technical experience including at least 3 of those years being Cybersecurity professional experience in the oil and gas sector or related industry.
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, or another specific computer technology discipline.
Certified in Cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
Knowledge and understanding of Operational Technology.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and models such as NIST, CIS, and Purdue Model.
Direct experience deploying SIEM tools from the ground up, including custom dashboard setup, alert configuration, playbook creation, and log integration.
Hands-on experience deploying and managing advanced security solutions such as AV, EDR, and IAM, adhering to the Zero Trust security model.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Entra IAM, including the implementation of conditional access policies.
