Job Summary

As an Animal Care Clerk for our Quarantine facility located in Laval , you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals.

Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include :

• Cleaning the animal rooms
• Cleaning the animal cages
• Animals handling

Key Elements

If you possess the following qualifications , we will train you in the rest :

• AEP in Animal Care (asset)
• Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
• Able to follow precises instructions
• Passion for animals

Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.

Role Specific Information :

• Location : 531 Boul. Des Prairies, Laval / Free parking / Near the subway Montmorency
• Salary : Starting at $18.50 / hrs
• Premiums : Weekends ($2.75), Overtime (time and a half), Holidays (double time)
• Annual bonus based on performance
• Schedule : Weekdays, between Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you will have to do overtime and weekend rotations
• Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
