We're seeking exceptional, experienced Security Supervisor Guard for our high-profile Remote camp site near Vanderhoof. This opportunity promises a professional environment and competitive wages as part of our commitment to a living wage.Transportation: This is not a fly-in fly-out (FIFO) position. You would be responsible for arranging your own transportation to either Prince George or Vanderhoof, where a shuttle bus (provided by the client) will take you to the worksite. The time spent on the shuttle is paid.Hours of work: 12-hour shifts, 14 days on 14 days offWages: $29.50 per hour plus a potential 4% upliftWhat's in it for YOU!Clean private room, which includes, Bed, A/C, TV and desk, small closet.Housekeeping - sheet changing and room cleaningMeals are provided - meals, includes a daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, and after-hours snack/food available, support any dietary restrictions.Health and Wellness - workout gym, running and bike machines, lounge, playroom, media roomFree Wi-Fi in each room.What you would do:Lead and respond confidently in emergency situations, ensuring timely organization and direction.Maintain up-to-date emergency protocols, contact lists, and knowledge of SOPs and post orders.Monitor access points, investigate unauthorized access, and enforce site security policies.Oversee site operations, maintain equipment, and ensure officer compliance with regulations.Mentor and assess officer performance, providing training and corrective action as needed.Maintain professional communication with the client and submit timely reports.Represent the company professionally and handle additional tasks as assigned by management or the client.Maintain a logbook, conduct regular radio check-ins, and fulfill security report writing duties.Provide a visual security presence, detecting and deterring unauthorized persons.Conduct site safety visits and recommend security improvements.Ensure compliance with all workplace safety protocols and regulations.File accident reports, participate in safety meetings, and oversee toolbox talks.Adhere to Securiguard's core values, vision, and mission statement.What you would bring:Valid BC Security Worker License2 years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or in a site lead capacityDemonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team.3+ years of experience in the security industry.Strong communicator who leads with empathy and a listening mindset.Strong customer service skillsPost secondary education in law enforcement or security is an asset.Intermediate Computer SkillsFull-time availability with flexibilityEmployee Perks We Offer:Paid TrainingExtended Health BenefitsDiscount Cineplex Movie TicketsOpportunities for flexible scheduling and overtime workRecognition Programs & EventsWho we are:Securiguard Services Limited has been at the forefront of the asset protection arena for almost fifty years by being a leading-edge innovative security and safety solution provider.
