About The Role - 30597 - GP - Sales Rep (Vancouver BC)
The Sales Representative is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department. Their duties include generating leads, develop and educate the market on our products and services, grow and manage GroundProbe's profile and product / service sales in Canada.
What you will be doing
- Develop, plan and forecast the pipeline of sales of GroundProbe's radar equipment and services
- Provide sales and commercial leadership in the Canada market including analysis of sales opportunities and generation of revenue through sales closure.
- Develop and sustain productive relationships and strategic alliances with key customers, potential customers and appropriate decision makers in these organizations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for different market segments.
- Effectively implement GroundProbe's authorized pricing strategies and contract management processes
- Overseeing sales, promotions and campaigns for your region
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
- Alignment with GroundProbe values and way of doing business, particularly in relation to safety, integrity, customer service, teamwork and innovation.
- Ability to successfully diagnose sales performance trends, deliver and improve outcomes within existing systems or methodology.
- Ability to develop and successfully implement best practice sales execution and management systems for GP within your region.
Travel : This position will travel approx. 50% throughout Canada to interact with existing and new customers.
What you will bring
- Contemporary sales models and methodology
- Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
- Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
- Must be upbeat, with a positive attitude and a strong desire for the challenge of making the sale using profession judgements
- An ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management
- Understanding of radar or similar technology preferred.
- Network of contacts within the mining / industry preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in related field required (preferably Business Administration, or Engineering)
- 5+ years' experience in sales preferably in mining / industry field
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English
- Conversational French preferred, but not required

Compensation
- Full Time Salary
- Salary range CAD 90,000-110,000
Salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
