General Labourer

NapSteel is seeking a motivated General Labourer to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position at our Surrey branch. This role involves counting inventory, general housekeeping, etc. This position does NOT require experience. However, preference will be given to those with warehousing and steel experience. Forklift experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Package pipe into bundles using a bander and metal wire
• Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
• Transfer steel pipe from one skid to another manually
• Count pieces for order fulfillment and complete order paperwork
• General material handling and housekeeping

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable and punctual
• Steel handling and/or warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory
• Able to use saw and torch
• Forklift experience preferred but not mandatory
• Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team
• Able to read orders and complete basic paperwork
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
