URGENT: Nanny

We’re a friendly family living in beautiful Canmore, Alberta, looking for a kind, reliable and engaging nanny to help care for our 2-year-old boy/girl twins. With daycare spaces being so limited here in Canmore, and no family nearby to lend an extra pair of hands, we’re exploring the possibility of finding a part-time nanny! We’re hoping to find someone who can provide a little regular support during the week and become another familiar, trusted person in our twins’ lives. We’re ideally looking for someone for two mornings a week initially, with the possibility of increasing in the future. We’re flexible on which days and happy to find a schedule that works for everyone. Our twins are curious, energetic and love to play and explore! We’d love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers, is patient, attentive and confident caring for two little ones at once. The role would primarily involve playing with the twins, engaging them in age-appropriate activities and attending to their everyday needs. All meals and snacks will be prepared in advance, so only simple reheating, serving and tidying up afterwards would be required. We’re equally happy for activities to take place at home or for the nanny to take the twins on little outings, depending on everyone’s comfort level. No general housekeeping is expected. Experience with toddlers, good references and CPR/first-aid certification are important to us. We’re offering $25/hour, depending on experience, and would love to find someone who could become a familiar, trusted part of our children’s weekly routine.
