Ben Machine Products is a Canadian leader in defence and aerospace manufacturing. Founded in 1973, we have a strong, vibrant workforce of over 200 people across two facilities. Our services include sophisticated 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling, CNC turning with live tooling, 6, 8 and 9-axis Swiss turning, precision sheet metal fabrication, mechanical sub-assembly, clean room capabilities and various finishing services. Consider being a part of our bright future!Responsibilities:The responsibilities for the rewarding position of deburrer at Ben Machine Products will include the following:Set up and use hand tools to remove burrs from machined parts.Set up and use sand blasting and tumbling equipment.Grind and polish machined and sheet metal parts.Visually inspect parts for burrs and imperfections.Maintain tools and equipment as required.Deburr parts with all safety precautions in place.Read and interpret blue prints.All other duties as assigned.Experience:We are looking for candidates with the following minimum experience:5+ years' deburring experience required.Ability to perform microscopic deburring preferred.Ability to determine the kinds of tools required for the job.Previous military or aerospace experience preferred.Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.Please note that we will only be able to respond to successful candidates.
