We are actively seeking accountants with bookkeeping experience to join our team in the Winnipeg Head Office of Shelter Canadian Properties Limited.
At Shelter, you will apply your knowledge of accounting concepts in a diverse and welcoming environment that offers opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Project Accountants are responsible for performing a broad range of full-cyle accounting functions for a portfolio of residential apartments, condominiums and commercial properties. Duties include cash management, reconciliation of bank accounts and rent receivable accounts, management of accounts payable, preparation of journal entries and variance analysis to compare actual results with operating budgets.
Requires a solid understanding of accounting concepts, bookkeeping experience, a working knowledge of Excel and good communication skills.
