Our client is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Human Resources Manager.
This role does require some travel between 2-3 facilities within Ontario to aid the HR department in recruitment and other HR functions.

Responsibilities :
- Facilitate administrative functions in the HR department and the H&S Management System
- Handle full cycle recruiting for the various locations and departments within the organization
- Aid in the onboarding of new employees
- Full cycle recruiting and onboarding responsibilities
- Monitoring the health and safety records and training files to make sure they are up to date
- Assist with WSIB and STD related claims as needed
Requirements :
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Pursuing an HR designation is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to other work locations as needed
