A Snapshot of Your Day

AGT Power Turbine team is a design team responsible for complete cradle to grave’ ownership of power turbines coupled with Aeroderivative Gas Generators.

The individual in this role will provide engineering support to PT Repair and Overhaul operations and contribute to the area of overall Turbine design and architecture of hot section of rotating machinery.

The hired individual will have opportunities to develop into a holistic Power Turbine engineer while leading complex turbine design work with support from a team of individuals with different skills across varying disciplines and across multiple locations / countries.

How You will Make an Impact

• Candidate will provide engineering support to Power Turbine R&O operations by reviewing concessions & production permits, by development and implementation of repair schemes and by providing material lists and drawings.
• Candidate will complete Computer Aided Design and Modeling of Turbine Components and Assemblies.
• Candidate will support the development, testing and validation of new Power Turbine designs coupled to an Aeroderivative Gas Generator.
• Lead integrated product development teams to develop turbine design solutions while managing interfaces with other gas turbine components and systems and interface with auxiliary system.
• Provide In Service Support and Procurement Support.

What You Bring

• Candidate should have a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Turbomachinery design or manufacturing.
• Working Knowledge and Experience in using CAD design software is required.
• Experience in using GD and T methodology as applicable to designing rotating equipment is highly desirable.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
