About the work environment :

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm with flexibility around start / end times.

We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About the qualifications :

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in an administrative setting.
• Strong relationship building and customer service experience with excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe catalog.
• Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines and is able to prioritize tasks in a changing environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar position within a mortgage or loan administration department would is an asset.
• Reconciliation experience an asset.
• Fluency in French is an asset.

About the day-to-day :

• Verify EFTs, transfers and wires via various banks, within authority level.
• Process property taxes on a daily / weekly basis.
• Support all aspects of daily, monthly, and annual mortgage and consumer lending.
• Facilitate funding, payment, and processing support for commercial funding.
• Liaise with various internal departments, as well as external; insurance consultants, CMHC, & servicer partners & mortgage brokers regarding ongoing payments.
• Facilitate internal / external customer and investor relations and relationship management.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Mortgage policies and procedures on the Portal, company policies and procedures, and the CMHC servicing manual.

Compensation :

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $53,000 and $60,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possess.
