Job Requirements
What you will bring to the table :
- Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant pure or applied science; graduate degree (M.Sc.) preferred.
- 12+ years' post-graduation experience in environmental consulting specific to managing contaminated sites and risk assessments for municipal infrastructure and linear projects.
- Strong project management and client relationship skills.
- Professional registration (or eligibility for registration) and in good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines within a team environment.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of provincial regulations (e.g., Alberta Tier 1 and 2 Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines, Alberta Contaminated Sites Policy Framework).
- Subsoil Salinity Tool certification is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
