Job Requirements

What you will bring to the table :

  • Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant pure or applied science; graduate degree (M.Sc.) preferred.
  • 12+ years' post-graduation experience in environmental consulting specific to managing contaminated sites and risk assessments for municipal infrastructure and linear projects.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Professional registration (or eligibility for registration) and in good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines within a team environment.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of provincial regulations (e.g., Alberta Tier 1 and 2 Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines, Alberta Contaminated Sites Policy Framework).
  • Subsoil Salinity Tool certification is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence.
