Third-Party-Logistics company focusing Over the Road shipments across North America is seeking a DISPATCHER / CARRIER RELATIONS Representative to join their small team.
Working under the Sales Manager and Senior Logistics rep, the Dispatcher will be responsible for booking loads, negotiating rates, communicating with carriers and building positive relationships with transporters.

Responsibilities
- Organizing day to day operations and handle all request for over the road shipments (full truck load, LTL, oversized, etc)
- Carrier relations and to negotiate rates and confirm details of each shipment.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients and carriers.
- Identify and grow business should the opportunity present itself from assigned clients (inside sales)
- Track and trace all shipments assigned to you, support with after hours urgencies
- Follow a shipment from beginning to end and ensure all paperwork is processed properly
Qualifications
- MUST RESIDE IN QUEBEC
- Minimum 1 year in logistics for over the road shipments (3PL industry preferred)
- Strong customer service skills and negotiations skills
- Passion for transport industry, strong work ethic and a drive to succeed
- Organized, detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a collaborative / team environment;
- Fully bilingual (English / French, written / spoken)
