Responsibilities :

• Lead the execution of capital projectsensuring adherence to scope schedule and budget.
• Manage the team within the unit responsible for projectexecution providing guidance and directives for successful projectcompletion.
• Utilize expertise in Petrochemicalprojects to guide the team in all phases of the project.
• Provide technical and project management oversightthroughout the design construction precommissioning commissioningstartup and closeout phases of projects.
• Ensure prompt resolution of project issues that ariseduring all project development phases.
• Enforcesafety measures during project execution.
• Implement company initiatives within projects anddivisional business processes.
• Familiarizeyourself with company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and striveto achieve them for projects within the division.
• Prepare and review monthly project performance reportshighlighting the status of design material procurement constructionmilestones commitments payments charges variances from standardswaivers and problems and present them to highermanagement.
• Anticipate and plan for changes inproject scope timing or costs and prepare the necessarydocumentation for management approval.
• Allocate appropriate manpower to all parts and phases ofthe project.
• Ensure that each divisionemployee is assigned appropriate training and developmentpaths.
• Oversee and review incoming andoutgoing correspondence related to assigned projects.
• Maintain proper job records for all assignedprojects.
• Negotiate agreements and changeorders with design and execution contractors.
• Guide and direct team members in applying This Companystandards minimizing variances from these standards.
• Take responsibility for project development includingengineering studies licensors selection technical bid reviewspreliminary engineering detail design materials procurementconstruction precommissioning handover commissioning startup andproject closeout.
• Review weekly and monthlyreports on contract status project costs and schedule and activelyparticipate in project meetings such as progress stakeholdersdesign review and value improvement.
• Reviewproject schedules coordinate and monitor project progress andaddress underperformance issues with contractors.
• Uphold engineering ethics and maintain high standards ofprofessional behavior and conduct.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelors degreein Engineering from a recognized and approved program with anadvanced degree preferred.
• Obtain a PMP PgMPor equivalent certification.
• Have fifteenyears of experience in the project management field specializing inrefining and petrochemical industries with a focus onPetrochemicals.
• Possess at least seven (7)years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer (Sr. PE) orproject manager in various project phases including designconstruction precommissioning commissioning startup and operationwith project values ranging from $500 million to billiondollars.
• Have Engineering Design &Construction phase experience with a deep knowledge of engineeringpractices and economic principles in the relevant InternationalCodes Standards and Specifications.
• Possess amastery understanding of international procedures for ProjectsPhases Engineering Phases Bidding procedures Procurement ProcessesConstruction Requirements and current Best Practices.

Additionallybe familiar with This Company procedures and standards.

• Demonstrate a mastery understanding of contract documentsincluding appendices drawings and specifications project executionplans interface management change management constructionsequencing standards specifications and project schedules tosupport the Department Manager in achieving timely projectcompletion.
• Understand scheduling principlesand recovery methods at a mastery level.
• Behighly proficient in managing cashflow distribution in projectsresource planning and distribution and crisis management with theability to handle project issues calmly.
• Exhibit a dynamic attitude towards driving projectimprovements and cost savings.
• Be flexible andwilling to work in multinational teams as well as mobilize todifferent locations including remote areas as required.
