We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of successful sales experience within the packaging industry and possess a proven track record of building and maintaining a robust book of business.
This role is pivotal in driving our expansion into new markets and sectors.
This position is a sales-hunter role, not your typical sales farming role
Responsibilities :
Business Development :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry, targeting diverse sectors.
- Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to expand our client base.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Client Management :
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Market Research :
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on market intelligence.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations :
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutual benefit for the client and the company.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our packaging solutions.
Collaboration and Teamwork :
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, design, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide feedback from the market to contribute to product and service enhancements.
- Work closely with management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of proven sales experience in the packaging industry.
- Established book of business within the packaging sector
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Corporate and polished demeanor, with a focus on building professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong Sales Hunter mindset is a must have
Compensation :
- Competitive base salary between $95,000-$125,000.
- Commission structure based on sales performance.
- Expenses covered for business-related travel and client meetings.
