About the Opportunity
- Assist in the preparation and generation of invoices for services rendered to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Review billing data for discrepancies or errors and rectify them before invoicing
- Collaborate with various departments to obtain necessary information for billing purposes, including transportation rates, service details, and customer contracts
- Maintain organized billing records and documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and billing statements
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, communicating with clients to facilitate timely payments and resolve billing inquiries or disputes
- Assist in reconciling accounts receivable and preparing reports on billing activity, aging invoices, and revenue analysis
- Work closely with the billing team to streamline billing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards related to billing and invoicing
About You
- Degree / diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance roles is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and numerical calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
Hourly Rate
$18 - $20 / hr
