Randstad is excited to partner with a Real Estate firm in their search for a Building Operator to work in their Missisauga commercial property. The Building Operator will be responsible for ensuring that the building is managed and maintained in a safe, environmentally responsible manner, and to the highest level of operational efficiency. This position joins a supportive and collaborative team and reports into the Operational Manager.

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain climate control and other mechanical systems within the property
- Perform preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, electrical, roofing, and life safety systems
- Assist with environmental assessments and reporting
- Participate in the corporate occupational health and safety program
- Monitor computerized control systems such as HVAC and lighting BAS
- Respond to tenant service requests
- Stay current with new industry practices, legislative changes, and new technologies
- Overtime will be required for scheduled maintenance, equipment repairs, and building infrastructure testing
- Occasional involvement in repairs or maintenance under inclement weather or uncomfortable conditions may be required. Must be able to provide direction during after-hours emergency situations
- Ensure operations records, files, and documentation are maintained in an orderly, accurate, and timely fashion, demonstrating sound administrative and organizational skills
