What is the opportunity?
The incumbent is responsible for daily operation, overall operating model and project delivery of Pension Accounting and Reporting department. The primary focus lies in planning and executing optimization of end-to-end pension accounting and reporting processes, improving client satisfaction, and fostering a low-risk operational framework. Key responsibilities include driving initiatives geared towards streamlining, standardizing, and effectively implementing operational changes, encompassing operations and system enhancements.
Additionally, the role entails envisioning and orchestrating future-oriented strategies and planning endeavors, aimed at optimizing operations, adopting industry-leading practices, and perpetuating a culture of continuous improvement. The cultivation of a culture of coaching, career development, and performance management. Proficiency in navigating and adhering to the Canada’s regulatory and industry standard landscape governing pension accounting and reporting is imperative. Close collaboration with internal enterprise stakeholders and industry authorities is paramount to accurately representing and supporting business needs.
