Must know the international system, as well as the nature and specifications of pharmaceutical products to be manipulated, in addition to pharmaceutical calculations and aseptic techniques.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Refers pharmaceutical or therapeutic questions to the pharmacist
- Fills prescription orders under the supervision of the pharmacist on duty and request his verification for any product dispensed
- Plans and carries out work load under the guidance of the pharmacist on duty or the group leader.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Uses aseptic techniques when working under a hood.
- Is involved in teaching of technical assistant students
- May be required to change tasks according to pharmacy department priorities and needs.
- Assures and maintains patient safety, privacy and confidentiality. Requirements : A.Academic and professional
- Pharmacy Technical Assistant Diploma
B.Knowledge and experience :
- Familiar with the terminology used in pharmacy
- Knows the international metric system
C.Skills :
Computer literate
