Purpose of the position
The assistant to the health services manager contributes to the planning and control of activities relating to the care and well-being of residents. He / she ensures compliance with the standards of the profession as well as the regulations governing the certification of private seniors’ residences relating to his / her sector.We are looking for two assistant care managers.A part-time position (4 / 15) evening and night, every other weekendA full-time position (8 / 15) evenings and nights, weekends only Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :
- Practice while respecting the laws and standards in force, the scale of values of residents and their beliefs
- Work in close collaboration with the Health Services Manager to supervise and mobilize the work of registered and / or auxiliary nurses and resident attendants
- Plan human resources and ensure timely replacement of care staff as needed
- Collaborate in the staffing process of your sector by ensuring the reception, training and integration of new employees
- Participate in the establishment and maintenance of protocols necessary for prevention and appropriate care of residents
- Ensure the accuracy of the data entered in the different work routes in Symo
- Collaborate on staffing / billing analysis to improve the efficiency and profitability of health services
- In the absence of the Health Services Manager, take charge of communication and ensure that the bond of trust with residents, their families and loved ones is maintained
- Act as an intermediary for various external stakeholders (doctors, pharmacists, CLSC, CISSS, etc.)
- Take appropriate measures with regard to emergency situations that may arise in the establishment.
- Carry out / contribute to the clinical assessment and monitoring of residents and ensure work routes are updated according to their specific needs
- Providing health and wellness care with the goal of maintaining and restoring health and preventing disease
