The HR Systems Analyst will be the operational and system subject matter expert for all HR systems and third party applications including UKG, DPC, Pure Safety, WEIMS and the Concord Security Pass system.
UKG responsibilities will be for the entire Toromont corporation and will include configuring UKG modules to meet business needs, troubleshooting operational issues, working with UKG to apply custom solutions and creating operation reports through the Bl interface.

In a typical day, YOU will :
- Manage the UKG configuration, ensuring the system is continually updated to reflect operational and business changes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business processes and workflows within the managed systems
- Build, generate and distribute various scheduled and adhoc reports to support business requirements. Responsible for keeping the reporting relationship updated on a regular basis.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure that data integrity is maintained
- In collaboration with other stakeholders analyze business requirements to identify required HR system changes. Configure (may require 3rd party assistance), test and implement system improvements
- Work with the Sales, Service & Parts training leaders to ensure that DPC footprint is expanded within the company. Being the main point of contact for the users and leaders, provide constant system support from enrolling, resolving system issues with CAT and report creation
- Assist and work on miscellaneous projects on as required bases (eg. Vacation conversion, Employment equity, Ultipro data conversion or system upgrades, etc)
Must-haves for this role :
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Human Resources Department focused on data maintenance, report building and troubleshooting projects.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Ultipro (UKG) Time and Attendance module, specializing in all configuration related to Shift Patterns, Daily Time / Overtime rules, Paid Time Off (i.
e Vacation, Sick days, etc) policies, Pay rate premium tables, Holiday Calendars.
- Advanced knowledge of IBM Cognos BI for building Reports and Dashboards.
- Experience managing Enterprise Systems security and access rights.
- Understanding of Payroll processes to be able to support / validate / audit time entries.
- Knowledge of DBS and Service Scheduler for Hourly Time data integration
- Advanced knowledge of MS Access, Visual Basics and SQL
- Experience managing big data files for system imports and exports
- English written and spoken
