Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a engineering firm located in Toronto, ON. We are looking to hire a Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join their team on a contract basis of 3 months, which has the possibility of permanent. This candidate will be working from their North York Office on a full time basis.

Your new role

  • Managing reception desk
  • Greeting clients and visitors
  • Switchboard
  • Oversees meeting rooms (booking meetings, cleaning rooms, setting up resources ie. presentations, etc.) & assisting with meeting minute
  • Deliveries and mail (mail, couriers, faxes)
  • Work with PM if there are any building issues
  • General reception email
  • Issue parking stickers to visitors
  • Assist with any events or lunches that are happening (catering)
  • Change employee directory as needed (leavers and new hires)
  • General admin & ad hoc duties thate up

What you'll need to succeed

  • MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook)
  • Excellentmunication skills
  • 1-2 years of working experience in an office environment
