Job description

Tasks

  • Work closely with the human resources team to formulate policies and procedures in compliance with Quebec laws.
  • Design and implement human resources plans and programs in accordance with the company's objectives and strategies.
  • Supervise the entire recruitment process in collaboration with the main manager.
  • Guide and train new employees, thus ensuring their harmonious integration within the extended team.
  • Manage benefits programs for team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals and identify development opportunities.
  • Advise managers on issues related to employee relations and disciplinary measures.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys and social events.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws.
  • Accomplish all other human resources-related tasks contributing to the success of the team.
  • Perform all other human resources-related tasks for the success of the team.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in HR as a generalist.
  • Excellent bilingualism.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations for the province of Quebec and disability management in workplace
  • Ability to work weekends or off hours when required
  • Experience in a manufacturing, food or production environment.
  • Desired profile
