Position : BI Developer / Analyst

Position Overview :

The BI Developer / Analyst is responsible for creating and managing business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data and business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. The position works closely with cross-functional teams and applies strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to support informed decision-making.

Major Responsibilities :

Translate business needs to technical specifications

Design, build, deploy, and support BI solutions

Collaborate with teams to integrate systems with ERP

Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

Develop and update technical documentation

Requirements and Skills :

Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst

Industry experience is a must

Background in data warehouse design and data mining

In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks

Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, or other BI solutions)

Strong skills in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

CPG experience is an asset
