Business Intelligence Developer

Position: BI Developer / Analyst

Position Overview:

The BI Developer / Analyst is responsible for creating and managing business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data and business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. The position works closely with cross-functional teams and applies strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to support informed decision-making.

Major Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications

• Design, build, deploy, and support BI solutions

• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems with ERP

• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

• Develop and update technical documentation

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst

• Industry experience is a must

• Background in data warehouse design and data mining

• In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks

• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, or other BI solutions)

• Strong skills in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• CPG experience is an asset
