Our offices in Ontario are looking for an Intermediate Urban Water Modeller to work within the Integrated Water Management Business Group to support a team of highly skilled urban water modellers.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :
- Run, analyze, calibrate and modify hydraulic wastewater and hydraulic water distribution system models and develop solutions to meet design criteria.
- Prepare modelling documentation, technical memoranda and design reports.
- Support Infrastructure Planning Studies including : Master Plans, Basement Flooding, Inflow and Infiltration Studies, etc.
- Providing training and mentorship to our junior staff related to water / wastewater models and methods.
- Support Senior staff with client relationships with key client contact for water / wastewater related projects.
- Support proposal preparation, report writing, cost estimation, drawing preparation.
- Collaborate with Service Line Leaders and Project Managers within and outside the Region on work sharing and business development.
What you will bring to the team :
- Degree in Civil / Water Resource Engineering.
- Professional Engineer ( license is an asset.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in conducting water resource modelling projects.
- Advanced capability and direct experience with industry standard hydraulic / hydrologic tools / models, such as WaterCAD / WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks CS / ICM (1D and 2D), InfoSWMM, InfoWater, WaterGems,.
- Understanding 3D modeling and experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D is an asset.
- Knowledge of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) modeling would be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with transient hydraulic analysis using Hammer software, and / or design would be considered an asset.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license in Ontario and willing to travel within Ontario and Canada as required.
