We've partnered with our client in the Hospitality / Tourism industry in their search for a Director of Human Resources. You can expect a competitive compensation package, some really great perks, with a well-tenured leadership team who has the same interests as you do.

You'll need a proven track record of : Leadership; Employee Relations; and the ability to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of business outcomes.

Here's what you'll be doing :

  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance on HR policies and programs.
  • Plan, develop, and implement organizational change, recruitment, onboarding, HRIS, job evaluation, compensation, training and development, performance management, employee relations.
  • Represent the company at job fairs and / or trade shows.
  • Develop compensation structures, stay on top of competitive wage rates, etc.
  • Ensure compliance across the board (employment law, government policy, legal, legislative etc.)
  • Analyze training needs, including health and safety.

Job Requirements :

Here's what you'll need to be considered :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field required (CPHR an asset).
  • 10+ Year’ experience (hospitality, tourism, or outdoor recreation an asset).
  • Solid leadership experience.
  • Experience conducting training for large teams.
