About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client located in downtown Ottawa, we are seeking a dynamic Bilingual Executive Assistant for a 3-month contract to start.
The successful candidate will follow a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days a week in office with parking available on site.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Managing the Directors calendar, scheduling, coordinating meetings, tracking deadlines, and setting priorities
- Organizing and preparing meetings, handling logistics for in-person or virtual events, agendas, etc.
- Drafting, editing, formatting, and finalizing documents, including reports and meeting minutes
- Reviewing and prioritizing incoming correspondence and actioning accordingly
- Managing the Directors email
- Maintaining the filing system, ensuring confidentiality and efficient information retrieval, and handling disposal of confidential files
- Conducting research, generating reports, and compiling statistics
- Updating and maintaining databases and computerized systems
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive or senior administrative role
- Bilingualism in English and French a must
- Relevant post-secondary education an asset
- Proficient in the Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- General knowledge of human resources and financial accounting processes, procedures, and systems a strong asset
About the Job
The role is offering $43.00 to $49.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
