Responsibilities :
  • Bookkeeping
  • Bookkeeping
  • Journal entries
  • A / P payments by cheque and ACH
  • US$ foreign exchange
  • Visa and Amex expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supporting financial documents for year end audit
  • Year end adjusting entries
  • Government remittances - WSIB, payroll source deductions, GST / HST returns, employer health tax
  • Payroll
  • Bi-weekly
  • Taxable benefits and LTD premium deductions
  • Vacation days record keeping
  • Banked hours schedules
  • Group RRSP & TFSA contributions
  • ROE, T4s and PIER
  • Company benefits plan administrator

    We are a manufacturer and distributor of packaging equipment who has been in business for over twenty-five years. We are a small company of approximately 13 employees where we are a family.

    This position allows FULL (seven day) flexibility in terms or days and hours worked. It is a 20 hour per week position and is well suited to someone who is winding down their career.
